Jaheem was a victim of bullying no matter how many times his mother went to the school and complained nothing was ever done. On April 16 after showing his mother and sister his report card of A's and B's he went to his room and hung himself. His best friend said Jaheem was tired of complaining, tired of the bullying, tired of the talking. He felt that his teachers, counselors were doing nothing and he just couldn't take it any more.
My heart breaks to think that no adult stood up for this child and righted the wrongs that were done to him.

WHY is it that most times those who are bullied are told to "toughen up" because its the world we live in or that "boys will be boys" I say enough is enough, stricter sentences like jail terms are needed when a life is lost. Children that bully should not have the privilege of going to school. Too many times those who are bullied leave the school. NO those that bully should be expelled !
Society as a whole has to stand and take a look at itself because society is slowly killing itself.

A big Thank you to Hans for sponsoring Jaheem, you are a sweetheart xo
