Ellen, age 93, passed away at a local nursing home in Rapid City. She was the daughter of Edward and Josie (Frazee) Ellison. She married John Byron Allison in 1928.
She is survived by her sons, Alvin Allison, Norman Allison, and Gerald Allison, 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her grandson, John R. Allison.
A memorial service was held at Kirk Funeral Home in Rapid City. A second memorial service was held in Onida, South Dakota, with inurnment in Onida Cemetery.
