Obituary - Barnesville Enterprise, Aug 28, 1969. Lela V. Castello, wife of Pete Castello of 364 South Broadway, passed away at the Barnesville General Hospital Tuesday night at 10:30.

Mrs. Castello was born March 6, 1903, the daughter of Webb and Cynthia Jones Dyer, at Uniontown, Ohio. She was a member of the Main Street United Methodist Church.

Bereaved by her death are her husband, four sons, Robert and Donald Castello of Barnesville, Leo of Sandusky, and Wayne of Reynoldsburg; five daughters, Mrs. Ray Adair, Mrs. Joseph Burkhart, Mrs. John Lambert, all of Barnesville, Mrs. Wayne Trimmer of Cambridge, and Mrs. Rodney Hickenbottom of Guernsey, Ohio, three brothers, Richard Dyer of Quaker City, RD 3, Forest of Barnesville, RD 2, and William of Barnesville. Five sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. There are also surviving 29 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 1 o'clock Thursday at the Campbell-Plumly Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Roy Hilliard, Interment will be made in Crestview Cemetery.
