Anna A. Adair, 87, Logansport, passed away at 7:35 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, 2014, in Miller's Merry Manor.
Born Dec. 7, 1926, in Ena, Texas, she was the daughter of Lynn and Iva Southard Price. She was married to Lester R. Adair Sr., who preceded her in death March 19, 1988.
Anna retired in 1978 as a telephone switchboard supervisor after 26 years of employment with General Telephone (GTE). She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
Surviving are a son, Lester (Beth) Adair and a daughter, Janice Berry, all of Logansport; grandchildren, Julie (Jeff) Mears, Milo (Elizabeth) Sutton Jr., Christina Stover, Brock Adair (Jennifer Allison), Tammy (Jason) Lantz, Amanda (Adam) Crain and Kim (Kristen) Thomas Jr.; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding in death are a granddaughter, Carol Ann Sutton; daughter, Ellen Sutton; sisters, Eva Tucci and Ginger Pettijohn; and brothers, Dale Price and John Price.
The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Kroeger Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday.
