SARATOGA SPRINGS - Louis George Abraham, 78, beloved husband for 55 years of Donna E. (Plude), died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2009, at Saratoga Hospital.
Louis was born April 23, 1930, in South Glens Falls, he was son of the late George Joseph and Martha (Khoury) Abraham.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
On April 5, 1953, he married Donna Plude.
A graduate of South Glens Falls High School and SUNY Plattsburgh in 1975; he began his career as a correction counselor for the New York State Department of Corrections. He retired in 1993, from Great Meadow Correctional Facility in Comstock.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, the Rev. Father Michael Abraham and his sister, Rose Marie DeVoe.
Burial will be private burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, South Glens Falls.
