Aaron Joseph Barnes, 24, of Great Barrington, MA, formerly of Becket, died Sunday, August 3, 2014, at Berkshire Medical Center following a motorcycle accident earlier in the day in Hinsdale.

Born in Pittsfield on April 26, 1990, he was educated in Becket and Washington schools, and was a 2008 graduate of Wahconah Regional High School where he played football.

At the time of his death, Mr. Barnes was employed by T & M Electric in Dalton where he had worked the last four years as an electrician apprentice.

Aaron is being remembered for his humorous spirit.

He enjoyed riding his Harley and was a member of C.O.B.B.

He enjoyed camping and drawing.

Aaron leaves his Mom and Dad, Yvonne and Patrick Galliher of Becket, and his father, Michael C. Barnes of Pittsfield; three sisters, Heather M. Keefner of Lee, Sara E. Barnes of Westfield, and Cheyenne S. Galliher of Becket; three brothers, Korrie M. Galliher and his wife, Emily, of Pennsylvania, Adam J. Galliher of Becket, and Kyle Mitchell of Northampton; his maternal grandparents, George and Mildred Pettit Houghtlin of Pittsfield, his paternal grandparents, Richard and Dorothy Osterhout Barnes of Pittsfield; paternal grandparents, Geraldine and the late Stephen Galliher of Becket; his fiancée, Jaime L. Keefner of Great Barrington; as well as many cousins, aunts, and uncles; and two nephews, Aden and Devon, and a niece, Aubree.

He was predeceased by a brother, Joshua Willis, in 1987.
