Gertrude Leslie Tedder died Friday in Jacksonville at the age of 83, after a brief illness. Mrs. Tedder was the daughter of the late Lewis Gilliland and Eugenia Dale Leslie of Madison and the widow of the late William Ernest Tedder. She was a long time resident of Madison County and a sister-in-law of Mrs. L. E. Leslie of Madison. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are two sons, George L. Tedder and W. E. Tedder, both of Jacksonville; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Monday and burial was in Riverside Memorial Park. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Leslie and Mrs. Joe Bevan attended the funeral of their aunt.
