Georgie died at the young age of 41 at the Baton Rouge General Hospital leaving behind her husband, Henry Hudson and a young son, Howard. She was an active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Following the death of Georgie, Henry remarried. He and his 2nd wife are buried at Roselawn Cemetery.
Originally buried in Section 5 Lot 110. This lot no longer exists. Persons buried in this lot were moved inside the current fence line when Florida Street was widened.
