Mr. Albert Truman Bowen
Mr. Albert Truman Bowen, 71, of Raleigh died June 22 at Smith County Hospital. The Smith County native was a member of Jesus Name Church of Christ.
Funeral services were conducted at Cohay Assembly of the Lord Jesus Christ on June 24 at 10 a.m. with Rev. David Watts officiating. Colonial Chapel of Magee was in charge of arrangements, and burial was at Merchants Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Nettie Mae Bowen of Raleigh; one daughter, Mrs. Gladys Irene Wilson; of Raleigh; three sons. Ethel Clenton Bowen and John Earl Bowen, both of Raleigh and Albert Henery Bowen of Shady Grove; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; six brothers, Pat Bowen. Perry Bowen and Howard Bowen, all of Raleigh, Delton Bowen and Carl Bowen of Pascagoula and Clyde Bowen of Brockseville.
