Mrs. Grace Burnham a former resident of Bloomington died at 10:00am on Thursday, 07 Apr 1904 at her home in Pittsburgh, Penn resulting from appendicitis. She had surgery at Carnegie Hospital a few days prior but never recovered. She had just celebrated her 24th birthday in March.
Grace and her family relocated to Bloomington "in 1893 were she remained until five years ago", when she married in Chicago to Mr. Clarence Burnham in 1899.
Grace was survived by her husband, three brothers and one sister- Fred and Lester of Indianapolis; Otis and Mabel of Bloomington.
Just two weeks prior to her death, Grace returned on account of her father's death. She was a member of the Chicago Christian churches and a young lady of many graces of character.
Grace was brought back to Bloomington on Sat, 09 Apr 1904. The funeral was held at the residence of her brother Otis Keefer.
