Born Nov. 12, 1916, in Kingsport, Tenn., a daughter of the late Ernest W. and Elizabeth Tranbarger Depew, she was a retired account manager at Mellon Bank in Sewickley.
Mrs. Neely was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sewickley. She was an avid bridge player and had several friends that she played with regularly. She also enjoyed reading and was known to take six or seven books out of the Sewickley Library at a time.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bertil S. Neely, and two sisters, Ruby Weinheimer and Helen Blake.
Surviving are a sister, Mildred D. Wagner, Coraopolis; a brother-in-law, James Blake, Sewickley; nieces, Janet Page and Barbara Coll, both of Durham, N.C.; Janice Gianetti, Hopewell Township; Arlene Marchionoa, Fountain Valley, Calif.; Carol Potter, The Village, Fla., and Susan Valdez, Rio Rancho, N.M., and nephews, Gilbert Wagner, Butler, and Bob Wagner, Coraopolis, and their individual families.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the RICHARD D. COLE FUNERAL HOME, 328 Beaver St., Sewickley, where a service will be held Monday at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow in Sewickley Cemetery.
