Pfc. U.S. Army, Vietnam War-Pfc. Fox was killed in action by small arms fire on 8-18-1969 while serving as a Light Weapons Infantryman with Co. B of the 4th Battalion, 31st Infantry Regiment, 196th Infantry Brigade, Americal Division. Pfc. Fox started his tour of Vietnam on 6-9-1969.

Pfc. Fox is the son of Mr. Harlan R. & Mrs. Vivian G. Fox of 417 East 2nd Street, Beardstown, Illinois, and the husband of Mrs. Sandra S. Fox of 402 East 10th Street, Beardstown, Illinois.

Awards: Bronze Star Medal, Purple Heart Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Vietnam Service Medal with One Service Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal.
