After a severe illness of about three months death claimed Ima Jock, a respected resident of this village. Tuesday, Sep 16. Mr. jock was 68 years of age. He was a son of the late Abraham and Cilista Jock of Bombay. Mr. Jock with his family moved to this village about 15 years ago. He was an industrious man of upright character well liked by all who knew him. There are left to mourn his passing his wife, Mrs. Ella O'Keefe, five daughters, Mrs. Clara Ghostlaw of Malone, Miss Nellie of Detroit, Mich., Miss Esther, of New York City, Mrs. Harry Norton of Oriskany Falls, N.Y., and Mrs. Joseph Thompson of this place; three sons, George of Malone, and Charles and Raymond of Detroit, Mich., four brothers, Oliver and Fred of Ft. Covington, Moses of Moira, and Charles of Potsdam, one sister, Fred Deyette of Brushton. The funeral was held at St Augustine's church at North Bangor at ten o'clock Thursday. Interment was in the North Bangor cemetery. Rev. Father Cornish officiated. The Sympathy of the community is extended the sorrowing ones.
