Mr. Smith died at 8:45 p.m Wednesday at Heritage Manor Nursing Home.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and retired from Allis-Chalmers Implement Co. Mr. Smith was a member of Sedalia Baptist Church, Water Valley Masonic Lodge No. 756 and American Legion Post 26.

He is survived by his wife Reba Mullins Smith. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by one brother.
