Early Life: Renee was born December 6, 1929, in Marysvale, Utah, to Walter E. and Sarah Howes Nielson.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: On January 7, 1949, Renee was married to the love of her life, Gerald Douglas George; they were sealed in the Manti Utah LDS Temple. He preceded her in death September 13, 2011. Renee loved caring for her family. She enjoyed cooking, collecting recipes, music and teaching piano lessons. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served as Primary President, Relief Society President, Primary teacher and in many other church callings. Evelyn Renee Nielson George passed away August 1, 2014. She was 84.
Survived By: Her seven sons: Steven (Judy) George, Scott (Melinda) George, Samuel (Barbara) George, Jared (Kathy) George, Matthew (Shelly) George, Paul (Brenda) George and Joshua (Susan) George; 30 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Preceded In Death By: Her husband, Gerald; her parents; and grandson, Benjamin George.
