METCALF, JOAN P., 82, passed away Friday, September 12, 2008, in Louisville. She was a native Australian. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sonnie "Mouse" Metcalf Jr. She is survived by her son, Daryl Metcalf (Diane); daughter, Debra Lewis (Robert); sister: Wyn Brown (Leslie); grandchildren, Randall Riggs (Sheena), Jessica Metcalf, Kyle Metcalf; and two great-granddaughters, Haley and Reagan Riggs. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Funeral Home, with visitation 2-8 p.m. Monday. Entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
