"#13. iii. Daniel4, b. in Medway, Jan. 12, 1686; m. Sarah Sanford, eldest dau. of Dea. Thomas Sanford of Mendon, Mass.; "widow Sarah d. 7 Nov., 1772. He d. in Medway, 12 Sept., 1772; his will was made Sept. 5, and proved Oct. 23, 1772. He is said to have been the first white settler in the town of Medway."
