Charles Joe Cornwell, 76, died at 4 a.m. today at his residence in Level Park, Bedford township. He leaves three sons, Frank of Battle Creek, Joe of Pennfield, and Claude of Level Park; three daughters, Mrs. Ira Smith of Battle Creek, Mrs Perry Crowe of Level Park and Mrs. Robert Fuller of Marshall; 32 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; and one brother William Cornwell of Marshall. His wife died July 4, 1929. He had lived near Battle Creek nine years. Funeral services will be held from the Pendill funeral home Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. A A. Geiger in charge. Burial will be in Hicks cemetery.
