ANTHONY MULQUEE, 69, of Viera, FL died at home. Tony started his law enforcement career at the age of 24 as a police officer in Baltimore, became a detective in the Vice Squad in Brevard County, in addition, had a 25 year career as Senior Security Manager with Harris Corporation and upon retirement from Harris worked with the Brevard County Sheriff's Department as a full time Deputy, recently promoted to Sergeant. Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Cathy Hofmeister Mulqueen; daughters, Irene, Katie (Raymond) Devito and Courtney Mulqueen; son-in-law, Chris Lewthwaite; sister, Irene (Richard) Jones and grandchildren, Ryan and Lauren Devito and Matthew, Owen and Catherine Lewthwaite. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Sarah and siblings, Miriam, Michael and Jack. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at Divine Mercy Catholic Church on Merritt Island August 13, 2014. Beckman-Williamson Funeral Home in Viera is serving the family.
