William R. "Bill" Campbell, 85, of Tyler, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, in Tyler.
Mr. Campbell, a retired pharmacist, was born on Dec. 5, 1928, in Lafayette, Ind.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Edith Y. Campbell. He was a loving father and grandfather, and was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Aman and husband Dan, of Magnolia, Elizebeth Reese and companion Hank Hilmer, of Wabash, Ind.; son, Douglass W. and wife Linda Campbell, of Lufkin; grandchildren, Daniel Aman, Kimberly Deaton, James Reese, Charles Douglass Campbell; and two great-grandchildren, Britiany Deaton and Alex Deaton; and good friend, Marlen Curry.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 4900 Kinsey Drive, Tyler, 75703.
