WILSONS MILLS-Mrs. Louise Black Capps, 94, of Wilsons Mills, died on Tuesday, September 23, 2008, at Smithfield Manor.
She was born in Lee County to the late John Oscar and Sarah Ann Wadsworth Black.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2008, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Minshew Funeral Home with Revs. Billy Lawson and Tim Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Hills of Neuse Memory Gardens.
Surviving family are husband William Milton Capps; daughter Doris Capps Marcom and husband Raymond of Wilsons Mills; sister, Lavene Hayes of Virginia Beach, VA; brother, Albert Black of Clayton; five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by sons, James E. Capps, and Hubert Lee Daughtry.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made be made to the Wilsons Mills Baptist Church, at 635 Swift Creek Road, Smithfield, NC 27577.
Visitation will be on Thursday, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., prior to service.
