Margaret G. Crimmins, 97, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014, in Independence, Mo. Margaret retired as an LPN at St. Joseph Hospital. She worked in many units in the hospital, but her favorite was the ICU "because they came in so sick, and I got to help them recover. It was very satisfying to be a big part of a patient's recovery." She is survived by her son, William E. Thomas "Bill" and wife Sherry of KCMO; her stepdaughter, Jean (Crimmins) Burdine of Wichita, Kan.; nine grandchildren, two step grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, 4.5 great-great grandchildren and five great-great step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Adrian Crimmins and daughter, Judy Lee McGuire. Visitation will be 10 a.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 14, at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 3737 S. Lee's Summit Rd, Independence, MO 64055. Interment at Mt.
