Samuel Gregory Genco, a resident of Bogalusa, LA, age 65, born on November 30, 1948 in Bogalusa, LA, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa, LA.

Retired Co-Owner of Genco's Amusement and Distribution Co., Bogalusa School Superintendent, Member of Annunciation Catholic Church, Member of the Knights of Columbus, Past King of MCCA and Bogalusa's outstanding citizen.

He is survived by three brothers, Gary Genco of Metairie, LA, Stephen Genco and Bryan (Cherie) Genco both of Bogalusa, LA;

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Sam Genco and Lena Mae Saltaformaggio Genco.

Visitation will be held all on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Annunciation Catholic Church at 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 9:30 a.m. The Funeral Service Mass will be held at 12:00 P.M. with the Rev. Father Daniel Brouillette officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
