Woodrow Jensen Teuscher, 90, passed away June 1, 2003, peacefully at his home in Twin Falls, Idaho. Woody was born August 16, 1912, in Raymond, Idaho, to Charles and Caroline Teuscher. Woody was the 8th in a family of 12 children. He learned to work as a young boy, as his mother was left a widow. He married Merlye Lemay Ineck on January 11, 1932. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Woody and Merlye are the parents of six children. Woody was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he held many positions. He was currently a member of the Twin Falls 10th Ward where he served as a High Priest. Woody was a wonderful neighbor and friend. All that knew him benefited from his many quiet acts of charity and kindness.

Wood was preceded in death by 2 sons, Deor and Steven Teuscher; his parents; and his brothers and sisters. He is survived by his sweet wife of 72 years, Merlye; a son Drew (Regina) of Tennessee; 3 daughters, Valene (Mike) of Hansen, Id., and Lois (Ted) of Washington, Miriam (Dave) of Arizona; 2 brothers, Vern and Sid; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Woody is now reunited with many family and friends in a peaceful and tranquil sphere in Heavenly Father's kingdom. He will be so missed by his many family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, 2003, at the 10th Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 229 Park Ave, Twin Falls, with Bishop Charles Hansen conducting. Graveside committal rites will be conducted 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Montpelier Cemetery, Montpelier, Idaho.

The family suggests memorials to the Idaho Heart Association, 3295 Elder, Boise, Idaho 83704. Services are under the direction of White Mortuary, "Chapel by the Park."
