Mary Starr, wife of Geo. B. Utter, and daughter of John Maxson, of DeRuyter, N. Y., died in Westerly, on Tuesday morning, March 24th, aged 43 years and 4 months. Some three before her death, she was thought to be near her end from pulmonary disease. But the development of a cancerous tumor had the effect of relieving her lungs and prolonging her days, though at the expense of much suffering, which she bore with Christian patience and resignation, finally triumphing over pain, and even death itself, through grace in Christ Jesus.
