Mrs. Ethel Darling Rosen, 67, Upper Floyd Ave, died at 8:15 last night in a Rome Hospital following a long illness. She was born in Lewis County on Sep. 2, 1897, a daughter of John and Carrie Aucutt Darling. Her deceased husband was Byron Rosen. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Laura Maine, Richfield Springs, and Mrs. Sylvester (Carrie) Robellard, Jensen Beach, Fla., and two brothers, Herbert Darling, Frankfort and Gordon Darling, Rome. Mrs. Rosen was of the Methodist faith. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday at the Griffin & Aldridge Funeral Home. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
