Born to John R. Haynes and Charlotte Owens, Shirley grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Idaho Falls High. She and Larry Reinhart married, were blessed with son Travis, and later divorced. Shirley and David Guse married 1974, had daughter Laura 1976, later divorced. On June 6, 2000, she married Bryon J. Haire in Idaho Falls. She had fought fire for the forest service, worked as a psych tech for State Hospital North and enjoyed doing various odd end jobs. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family. Survivors beside loving husband Bryan included: son Travis (Stephanie) Guse, Idaho Falls; daughter Laura Guse, Idaho Falls; brother Tom (JoAnn) Haynes, Idaho Falls; sister Susan Cordova, Idaho Falls; Bryan's parents Glenn and Delores Haire, Idaho Falls; and 4 grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, husband David, and son in-law Thomas Ward.
