BROWN, Julie (Elliott) Weitensteiner Julie (age 72) of Spokane, WA, formerly of Ritzville, WA, went home to be with The Lord on August 13, 2014. She graduated from Ritzville High School in 1959, moved to Cheney to work at the college, and then moved to Spokane to work in the insurance industry until retirement. Julie felt very blessed throughout her life by the love of her family and friends. Our hearts will always remember Julie's gentleness, kindness, and generous heart, as well as her sense of humor that continually brought smiles and laughter into our lives. She is survived by a brother, Verlin Elliott of Everett, WA; sister, Marin Fode of Lind, WA; grandchildren, Chad, Zachary, and Emma; and daughter in law, Teresa Weitensteiner of Spokane, WA; and many nieces and nephews. Julie was preceded in death by husband, Richard (Dick) Brown; son, Nick Weitensteiner; parents, Martin and Esther Elliott; and brother, Gary Elliott. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Morning Star Boys Ranch in Spokane or a memorial of your choice. A private graveside service will be held at Greenwood Memorial Terrace.
