Mary Ellen Goodin passed away peacefully July 29, 2014, after losing her battle to cancer. She was born Feb. 20, 1932, in Sikeston, Mo., of parents Frank C. Kindred and Lillie (Crutchfield) Kindred.
She was survived by her loving husband, Bob, of 60 years, and her two sons, Shawn, of North Carolina and Bob Jr. of Debary, Fla. She had nine grandchildren, Seth, Samuel, Suzanna, Barbara, Randy, Bobby, Stephanie, Michael, and Christina. She is also survived by her two sisters, Jane Brown and Margie Morgan; and sister-in-law Elizabeth Kindred.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Shelley; grandson Ben; and brother Leonard.
She grew up in Caruthersville, Mo., married and moved with her husband eventually becoming an Avon district manager in the Chicago area. They both retired to Las Vegas in 1993. Mary was energetic and positive throughout her life even in the end. She had sincere concern and love for others and will be missed by all her life touched.
