Decorah- Mrs. George Matter, 70; Saturday evening at Decorah hospital; funeral, Wednesday from the Winneshiek Burial Association parlors at 1:30 p.m. and at First Lutheran church at 2; burial in Phelps cemetery; nee Kathrina Bronner, in Germany, and was brought to Granger, Minn., by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Bronner, when she was four years old; married to George Matter at Granger in 1898, and with him came to Winneshiek county in 1912; their home has been in Decorah since 1923; leaves husband, son, Stanley, Decorah; two daughters, Mrs. Weston Stoskopf, Canton, Minn., and Mrs. Bernard Sparke, Tacoma, Wash.; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren
