William "Luther" Callahan was born in Pisgah, Alabama Jackson County on Sand Mountain. He married his first wife, Miss Ella M. Shrader (1899-1919) on 8 September 1918 Dekalb County, Alabama. Luther married his second wife Miss Ethel Mitchell (1905-1976). Together they had eight children that I know of. Alton Callahan of Fl., Aubrey Callahan of Fla., Linda Callahan-Turbeville of Powder Springs, Georgia, Earl Callahan of Gadsden, Ala., Jimmy Callahan of Hixson, Tenn., Claude of Sylvania, Ala., Burma Callahan-Brown of Marietta, Georgia and Vada Callahan-Brooks of Crossville, Alabama. A daughter, Mrs. Lena Callahan-Mayes of Hammondville, Alabama Dekalb County. William Luther Callahan is loved and missed by his family and his friends. He will not be forgotten. ( A daughter, Mrs. W.
