Published in The Paducah Sun (McCracken Co., KY), Fri., 26 May 1972 - HOPKINSVILLE, Ky., May 26 - Woodrow W. Harris, 56, a native of Wickliffe, died at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Jennie Stuart Hospital here.
Mr. Harris was a machinist and had worked in Detroit for many years before being transferred to Florence, Ala. He moved to Hopkinsvilie two years ago after retiring because of ill health. He was a member of Julien Baptist Church and of the Masonic Lodge here.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Travis Harris, one daughter, Mrs. Fred Montgomery; and four grandchildren, all of Hopkinsvilie; three sisters, Mrs. William Harrington of Wickliffe, Mrs. Theo Allred of Barlow and Mrs. Vernon Rollins of Hazard.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Milner-Philllps Funeral Home in Wickliffe with the Rev. Wallace York officiating. Burial will take place in the Wickliffe Cemetery. Nephews will serve as pall bearers.
