COURTLAND--The funeral for Elmer Chadd, 88, Courtland, will be at 2 pm Friday at the Mission Covenant Church here, the Rev. Martin Brandt officiating.
Mr. Chadd died Wednesday at Belle-View Manor nursing home, Belleville, where he had been a patient since July 2.
He was born Feb. 26, 1886, near Centerville, Iowa, and moved to Courtland in 1906. He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are the widow, Stella, of the home, and 2 sons, Sidney, Omaha, Neb., and John, Portland, Ore.
Burial will be in the Courtland cemetery. Friends may call at the Tibbetts Bros. Funeral home, Belleville.
