She married William David Parkhill on March 27, 1904 in Atoka County, Oklahoma. They had 14 children: Elbert (1899-Unknown), Louise (1900-1975), Infant Son (1904-1904), William (1906-1957), Vannie (1908-1999), Paul (1911-1980), Zanie (1912-2003), Linda (1914-1962), Odell (1916-2004), Estie (1918-1957), Sophronia (1919-2005), David (1924-1979), Cecil (1926-2001), and Infant Daughter (1929-1929).

1910 Census: She was living in McCurtain, Oklahoma with her husband and children. She could not read and write.
1920 Census: She was living in Wichita, Texas with her husband and children. She could read and write.
1930 Census: She was living in Foard, Texas with her husband and children.
1940 Census: She was living in Crowell, Foard, Texas with her husband and children. She was working as a seamstress. The highest grade level she completed was 2nd grade. They rented the house they lived in.
