Martha Floyd Pitts, wife of Nathaniel (Nathan) Pitts.
Daughter of Capt. John Floyd III and Ann "Nancy" Andrews.
Granddaughter of John Floyd and Ann Hurst.

A number of researchers give her middle name as Elizabeth, though there is no known documentation for any middle name and appears to be an attempt to reconcile or merge conflicting family trees. Some original records refer to her as Patsy Floyd Pitts.

Through her paternal grandmother Ann Hurst Floyd, she was a descendant of Peter Montague, one of the first settlers of Jamestown, Virginia (Qualifying Ancestor, Jamestowne Society).

Seventh-great-granddaughter of Cleopatra Powhatan, sister of Pocahontas.
Eighth-great-granddaughter of Catherine Carey, Lady Knollys, daughter of Mary Boleyn, sister of Queen Anne Boleyn and mistress of King Henry VIII.
