Eli Angevine represented Dutchess County in the New York State Assembly, 1825.

Angevine Genealogy by Clyde V. Angevine, p. 356:
Photocopy of letter dated 10 Apr 1975 from Mr. M. John Fox, Reference Librarian at Albion College, Albion, Mich, to Earl F. Angevine & rec'd from #1137 Frank W. Angevine. Mr. Fox has tried to establish a genealogical file on some of the early and important settlers of the Albion area. The following data as found in this letter:
Eli Angevine, died Albion, I856. Wife, Sarah Ostrom, died I85O. They had 14 children of whom at least 5 were daughters. Among them was:
Alfred U. Angevine, born 9 Nov 18l6, Dutchess Co, NY. He married, 24 Nov 1847, Louisa M. Sheldon, daughter of James Sheldon, born 1826, Parma, NY, died Feb I887. They had issue:
Byron, of whom later
Eugenia, died before I89I
Mary Carolinda, married George Kempf of Chelsea, Mich.
Mattie, died before I891
Byron Angevine married Lena Mount (who married as her second husband, Laif Crandall). Byron & Lena issue:
Lotte Belle
Harry V., born 14 Feb I887, died Dec 1958. He married, 9 Jun 1909 Eleanor Dart and had issue:
Byron C , married Ruth M. Towne of Albion. As of 1958 they were in Evergreen, Colorado.
Lottie, married Gerald Helper
Louise, married Clare Smith of Evergreen, Colorado.

It seems unlikely that Jonathan Angevine and his wife are among the unmarked graves in the Angevine family cemetery since his parents are buried at the Presbyterian church. Some family trees of descendants indicate that they may have moved to Clinton in Dutchess County which, if correct, is likely the place of burial.
