Bertha Elizabeth Zorger Armstrong Peckham, daughter of a Henry Zorger and Priscilla Shell, was born in York Co,, Pa., Aug. 5, 1871 and departed this life Sept. 26, 1949 at her home in Willis, Kansas. She grew to womanhood in her native state and moved to Willis, uniting in marriage with James E. Armstrong on Aug. 15, 1895. He preceded her in death on July 8, 1940. She as married on March 17, 1942 to Luther G. Peckham, who is left to mourn her passing. Besides her husband, she leaves two brothers, George Zorger of Harrisburg, Pa., and Harvey Zorger of Hiawatha, Ks., and two sisters, Alice anole and Flora Derr, both of Middletown, Pa.
