ELMER E. SHERMAN
Elmer E. Sherman, retired stationary fireman of 1123 East River Street died Friday noon at Elyria Memorial Hospital. He had been in ailing health for the past year. Mr. Sherman was born in Calamas County, Iowa, May 8, 1867 and had lived in Elyria 35 years.
Surviving are his wife Harriett M. Sherman; two daughters, Mrs. August Fitchtner of Elyria and Miss Helen H. Sherman, office secretary at the Elyria Y.W.C.A.; one stepson, John Conklin of Bellevue; one brother, Daniel Sherman of Olean, N.Y., one granddaughter and one great grandson.
Friends may call at the Sudro-Curtis Funeral Home where services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Ernst Irion, pastor of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed church officiating. Burial will be made in Brookdale cemetery.
