Lanigan, Rosetta M. Of Flint, age 93, died Wednesday, October 11, 2006, at Melody Pines Care Home, Flint, MI.

Rosetta was born March 3, 1913, in Bay Port, MI, daughter of the late Pearl and Margaret (Burr) Dutcher. She was salutatorian of her high school graduating class.

Rosetta married Leonard Lanigan in Flint on May 8, 1943. Leonard preceded her in death in 1989.

Rosetta worked at Buick until her marriage, then was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening and raising flowers in her greenhouse. Rosetta and her husband liked to travel, especially to visit historic sites around the country. She was a devoted member of Eastside Community of Christ Church and was church organist for many years.

Rosetta is survived by her stepson, William Dennis Lanigan; grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren in California. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, Rosetta was preceded In death by brothers, Harvey, Melvin, Elvin, and John Dutcher; sisters, Elizabeth Hunter, Kate McNamara, Laura McNamara and Ellen Jenkins.

A Funeral Service will be held 10 AM Saturday, October 14, 2006 at Allen Funeral Homes 9136 E. Davison Rd., Elders John Hart and Lola Robson officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 24 and 6-8 PM Friday, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eastside Community of Christ Church.
