Maynard was the son of Eugene Weppner and Mary "Mayme" Michel. He was married three times. His first wife's name was Mary to whom he was married prior to 1958. On 16 Dec 1977 he married Elizabeth M. Brown. On 31 Dec 1979 he married Marian Jean Burgin. Maynard died at the age of 70.
