Kenneth was born in Sweet Water, Alabama, to the late John R. and Thapie (Perkins) Anderson. He grew up in Sweetwater and attended school there. He was a Staff Sergeant and served his country proudly for over 20 years in the United States Air Force, serving during the Vietnam War. Kenneth moved to Rice, Texas, in 1982. He then went to work for Ennis Transportation as a long haul driver. He was a member of the American Legion and First Baptist Church of Rice. Kenneth enjoyed working on all kinds of engines including tractors and cars.
Survivors include his son, Kenneth Anderson, Jr., of Reno, Texas; daughters, Alisia Eaton and husband, Rod, of England, and Cyndi Cavender and husband, David, of Ennis; seven grandchildren: 11 great-grandchildren; sisters: Nearlie Bar, Edwina Stephens, and Ann Callaway; other relatives and many friends.
