Carol White Wenzlaff, age 76, died Wednesday, August 20, 2014, suddenly at home under the care of Hospice after a short battle with cancer.

She was born on February 26, 1938 in Kansas City, MO, to Gordon A. and Mildred (Carpenter) White.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Shirley Marier and Janet Everett.

She is survived by children, Gregory (Kelley) Wenzlaff of Powell, OH and Gretchen Wenzlaff of Worthington; two grandchildren, Shelby and Zachary Wenzlaff of Powell; two nieces, Shaunessy Everett and Allison (Steve Benson) Everett of Columbus.

Carol was raised in Wichita, KS and graduated from St. Mary’s High School. She attended Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS. Carol relocated to Worthington in the late 1960s and raised her family here.

She retired from OSU Medical Center Administration. Carol was a fabulous cook, an avid reader, and loved to garden.

She enjoyed music, playing piano, singing, and was a lover of all animals especially her beloved cat, Coco.

Family will receive friends on Thursday, August 28, 2014 from 6 pm- 8 pm at the Schoedinger Worthington Chapel, 6699 N High St, Worthington, OH 43085.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Friday, August 29, 2014 at ST. MICHAEL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 5750 High Street, Worthington, OH. Father Anthony Dinovo, Jr., Celebrant.

Inurnment at Union Cemetery.
