Martha B. Heighton 76, formerly of 703 Downing St. died Saturday at 3 pm, in Lutheran Bethany Village, Dayton.
Born in Covington Feb 27, 1906, she was the daughter of Pete and Agnes Rench Thomas. Both are deceased. She was first married to the late Harold P Upton. She then was married to Walter Heighton who died in 1979.
She was a member of Greene Street United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son Richard Craig Upton, Mesquite Texas, three stepsons, Douglas Heighton, Dayton, Roger and Alden Heighton, both of NY, four grandchildren ana a sister Mrs. Everett Timmins (Maude), West Milton.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 am in Jamieson Funeral Home.
