Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Fred A. Alciati of Farmington and Joseph J. Alciati of Colebrook; a daughter, Julie Fierravanti of Glastonbury; two brothers, Florenzo Alciati and Raldo Alciati, both of Torrington; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
