Silvio Alciati, 81, of Glastonbury, husband of Columba (Parducci) Alciati, died Tuesday (Oct. 6) at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Hartford. Born in Italy, he had lived in Torrington most of his life, moving to Glastonbury a month ago. He worked for the Torrington Co. before retiring in 1963.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Fred A. Alciati of Farmington and Joseph J. Alciati of Colebrook; a daughter, Julie Fierravanti of Glastonbury; two brothers, Florenzo Alciati and Raldo Alciati, both of Torrington; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in St. Augustine's Cemetery, South Glastonbury. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Glastonbury Volunteer Ambulance Association, P. O. Box 453, Glastonbury. (Bio provided by FAG member SLE)
