Elsie Elizabeth Corbin, 95, Conquerall Bank, died Wednesday in South Shore Regional Hospital. Born in Pleasantville, she was a daughter of the late R. Allan and Harriett (Crouse) Rafuse. She received her early education in Pleasantville and graduated with a nursing degree from a Boston hospital. She was a life member of W.A. of Anglican Church of Canada and a life member of Royal Canadian Legion Ladies Auxiliary Branch 24, Bridgewater. She is survived by four sons, George, Murray, both of St. Catharine's, Ontario; Harry, Peggy's Cove; Robert, Kingston, Ontario; three daughters, Ella, Halifax; Elizabeth, East LaHave; Edythe (Mrs. Robert Bell), Conquerall Bank; a step-daughter, Ruth (Mrs. Robert Foster), Vancouver; three sisters, Vera (Mrs. Robert Pearson), Chelmsford, Mass.; Kathleen (Mrs. Ted Anderson), Belmont, Mass.; Amy (Mrs. Bernie Bell), Bridgewater; two brothers, Allan, Smith's Falls; Harry, Bridgewater; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, the former Rev. Parker Corbin; two brothers, James, Percy; four sisters, Tessa, Hazel, two in infancy; a step-son, Fred. The body is in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville, visiting 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Bridgewater, Canon Emery Harris and Rev. Sandy Murray officiating. Burial in St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery, Pentz. Donations may be made to St. Augustine Anglican Church, Conquerall Bank, General Synod Pension Plan, c Holy Trinity Anglican Church, R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, or any charity.
