Mrs. Lorraine Sheetz was the daughter of the late Ervin and Marguerite Smeltzer. She worked as a waitress for many years in several of York's finer restaurants, her favorite always being "The Hill" where she made wonderful lifelong friends. She spent 25 years working as a sales consultant for The Longaberger Company and shared her love of baskets with thousands of people in the area. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and spent as much time as she could in the ministry sharing the news of the wonderful future she was looking forward to. She enjoyed fishing, crabbing, gardening, traveling and entertaining, but her greatest joy was being with her family. The last few years, she was living with her husband in a home in Red Lion that her own father built and that she grew up in. She always said she came full circle and was happy her last home was also her first.
