Sande was a bright vivacious young woman. She was always up for fun. Sande and I and spent a couple days together just a few days before she died. We had the greatest time, we laughed and laughed and laughed some more. She was a generous soul who was always willing to lend a helping hand. Sande graduated from Rochester High School and went on to business school. She became a business instructor at said school and went on to become a very successful business woman. She loved speed and enjoyed her Dodge Charger and later a Corvette. Sande was a avid down hill skier. We had many fun times on the slopes in Northern Michigan. Sande was great with children, they loved her for her spirit and the surprise gifts she would always arrive with.
Sande died on Northwest Flight 255 on August 16, 1987 in Romulus, Michigan. All lives were lost on this flight with the exception of a four year old child.
