Edwardsville PA: Frank Simchick 74 of 14 High Street, died 17 June 1958 in General hospital as a result of injuries substain from an auto accident, three hours after he stepped
out in front of a car on the Market street bridge Kingston side, driven by Rabbi Meyer Pernikoff 33 of
Westmoreland Ave in Kingston.

Frank was born 16 Feb 1885 in Augustowia Poland, the son of Anthony and Anna Czuper Simchick. He married Bronislava Zelinkski, daughter of Anthony and Mary Barcewski Zelinski of Plymouth PA. They were married at St John the baptist church in Larksville 21 Feb 1907.

Frank was a resident of Larksville and Edwardsville, he
Was a retired coal miner, employed by Glen Alden and Woodward Coal companies. He was a member of the United Societies of GC Religion Lodge #40 and a member of St Vladmirs Greek Catholic Church in Edwardsville.

Predeceased are his wife Bronislava Simchick Jan 1918 and two daughters, Frances Simchick Pitkevitch, wife of Peter Pitkevich in Sept 1952 and Mary Simchick Litwak, wife of Andrew Litwak in Dec 1952.

Survived by his two sons: Joseph Simchick Karban and his wife Careene Karban and two daughters Virginia and Marie Karban of Brooklyn Heights NY. Brother Albert Simchick and his wife Josephine Kropovitch Simchick and three children
Ronald, Paula and Maryann of Buffalo NY.

Funeral arrangments under the direction of Kopecki Funeral home, Kingston PA. Requiem mass to be held at St Vladmir with burial at St Marys Byzantine Catholic
Cemetery, Dallas PA. Rev Lawrence Zakrevsky officiated at the mass.

Pallbears: Ronald Simchick, John and Andrew Litwak, Alfred Fink and Michael
Dubee.
