Darl L. Klingaman, 81 of Tekonsha died on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at Maple Lawn Medical Care Center in Coldwater. Mr. Klingaman was born on March 7, 1933 in Larwell, Indiana to Dallas and Bernice (Castator) Klingaman. He graduated from Tekonsha High School in 1951. On June 27, 1969 he married Rolene D'Water in Tekonsha. Mr. Klingaman farmed in the Tekonsha area his whole life. He also was a janitor and a bus driver for Tekonsha Schools for several years along with working at Corning glass and Tekonsha Engineering. Mr, Klingaman was a member of the TekonshaArea Church of God. He enjoyed working outdoors and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Rolene of Tekonsha; children, Steve (Mary) Klingaman, Kim (John) Kieller all of Coldwater, Jeff (Tina) Klingaman, Julie (John) Duty all of Tekonsha, Donald (Tracy) Jenkins of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Alice Jenkins of Kalamazoo, and Florinda (Rick) Mack of Tekonsha; 16 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Maude Klingaman of South Bend, Indiana, Faith Doolittle of Tekonsha, Edith Petrie of South Bend, Indiana, and Melba Devenney of Edwardsburg; brothers Lavon Klingaman and Frank Klingaman all of Tekonsha. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson Derek Klingaman in 2013; and a brother, Phil Klingaman.Funeral took place at Kempf funeral home Marshall Mi.
