Louise Calhoun was born Louise Stapleton. She went to high school in Brownsville Pennsylvania where she met her husband to be, James 'Jimmy' Calhoun. While in High School she became friends with Alice Lane of West Brownsville. They were fast friends both in and out of school, Louise later married James Calhoun and George and Alice 'Lane' Staib were their best man and maid of honor at their wedding. Louise settled down to married life and spent a great deal of time with Alice Staib and helped Alice with her new baby. Unfortunately after the Second World War ended Alice and George Staib moved to the State of California from West Brownsville and contact was eventually lost between the two. They did however remain fast friends through the years.
